This property had been recently refurbished and updated and the client wanted to “do something” with the back garden. The walls, paving and steps close to the house were to be retained. The design reflects the contemporary feel within the property but blends with the wider landscape. The pergola was positioned to take advantage of the evening sun in the summer. Planting includes a variety of topiary, shrubs, David Austin roses, perennials and bulbs giving seasonal interest.
