This property was a new build and so the garden was a blank canvas with the exception of an existing path from the gate at the bottom of the garden.

This was retained as there was not a big budget for hard landscaping. The brief was for a plant rich, wildlife friendly cottage garden, with a small shed, an area for dining and separate seating area for relaxing. My client was also keen to incorporate lots of roses. We managed to fit a great deal into this small space and my client was impressed with how much bigger the garden felt.

The ‘Posh Shed’ works as feature in the garden as well as obviously being functional, the pergola over the bench is a great space for climbing plants and the mix of herbaceous perennials is a winner with the wildlife!
